Overworked, Blackout,Burnout

Corporate health is becoming an increasingly important issue for many companies, but at present it is mainly left to the individual to find the right work-life balance. The personal demands are often very high: Both at work and in private life one wants to meet all expectations. Often it is not so much the pressure from the outside, but rather one's own perfectionism that no longer makes rest periods possible. The fast change from professional to leisure time stress (as far as one allows oneself this at all) does not allow regeneration, no more refueling.

The consequences are only slowly apparent, but quickly become more and more dramatic:

Constant restlessness, poor sleep quality, concentration problems, memory gaps, right up to permanent exhaustion and extreme drop in performance. What used to be done in a short time now takes hours. Decisions become a hard fight with oneself.

What is called overtraining in sports is nothing more than the fact that you have "overworked" yourself in a professional-private context. To maintain, sustainably increase or restore one's personal performance is only possible through targeted active regeneration. Exercise phases must be contrasted with effective recovery phases (and this does not mean a cosy evening watching TV or total physical exhaustion in one's leisure time).

We offer comprehensive regeneration coaching at our Centre for the Enhancement of Audivisiual Perception (AVWF) in The Hague or directly at your firm.

First of all, the individual condition is recorded through a detailed conversation and various measuring methods (such as low-level functions, sensorimotor measurement). The basis of our treatment is the AVWF method, which positively influences the autonomic nervous system by means of sound-modulated music. The aim of this method is to bring the patient's own stress regulation back into balance. Only then is the necessary energy for possible lifestyle changes available to many clients. Breath training by means of biofeedback and moderate movement with colour filter glasses are further pillars of our method, which should be realistically implemented in everyday life for everyone.

 Approach

A treatment is always preceded by a detailed and free initial consultation.

In addition, there is the possibility of having the individual stress level tested by means of simple perception tests and/or a sensorimotor measurement.

If you have decided to use the AVWF method, the following procedure applies:

The first 10 basic sessions should be completed within one to three weeks without a major break (maximum two days). The sound-modulated music has a lasting effect for more than half a year. There are regular checks and, if necessary, refreshments. Gradually not only the physical well-being is increased, but also the knowledge about active regeneration and possibilities to integrate it into the personal everyday life, how to manage your work load, while not getting overwhelmed.
